With a rotating lineup of entertainment, this Friday and Saturday night, be dazzled by a cheeky music theatre performance that pokes fun at a very GC cliché, First World White Girls’ Botox Party. Grab a ‘botox’ cocktail, some tapas eats and prepare to near wet yourself at one of the best things to do on the Gold Coast this weekend.

Buskers By The Creek

With SWELL over for another year, we know you’re looking for any old excuse to drag the fam bam back down to magical Currumbin. Well folks, this is a damn fine reason—the return of Buskers by the Creek. Smattered along the Currumbin estuary foreshore adjacent to Duringan Street, this family-friendly event has a whopping 300 artists and performers lined up for the weekend-long fest. Think: a swag of live bands and solo musos, child prodgies, street theatre, magicians, comedians, dance troupes and a floating circus, plus market stalls and food trucks with ample street eats to munch down on. Those good vibes come for free.

When: Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October; 10am to 6pm
Where: Winders Park, Duringan Street, Currumbin Creek

Direct from sell-out seasons in London’s West End, the Sydney Opera House and Adelaide Fringe Festival, BLANC de BLANC is a sassy champagne cabaret that’s so damn popular the encore performance has just been extended to Sunday 12 November. We were lucky enough to check out the show IRL and let’s just say our cheeks are still sore from grinning like crazy. The evening progresses from refined theatre musical to downright debauchery, all under the magical veil of a purpose-built ‘Spiegeltent’ circus tent. You’d be a fool to miss one of the most entertaining things to do on the Gold Coast this spring.

When: Now until Sunday 12 November
