Unless you've been living under a rock, you will have heard that some Gold Coast restaurants and cafes have re-opened for dine-in services (for up to 10 people at a time). The question is, who has re-opened and who will continue to run as takeaway only?

Lucky for you, we'll be keeping this rolling list of Gold Coast restaurants that have re-opened, so you know where to go for that sweet, first restaurant meal of the post-COVID era. If you don't see your favourite here, let us know about it.

If it’s been too long between a mouth-watering dish of handmade pasta at Orzo in Broadbeach, chances are you’re dying to drop in for a meal. So, you’ll be happy to know they’ve re-opened their doors to 10 people at a time, although you will need to reserve your spot asap on 07 5570 3476.

Easy Street Diner

Mermaid Beach

Ask any burger aficionado where to head for a feed and this is where they’ll tell you to go. Bringing ‘proper burgers’ to the Gold Coast since early 2015, we’ve been missing scoffing back the goods at the American-style Easy Street Diner. But that’s all changed now, with these guys re-opening for dine-in meals from Monday to Sunday from 5pm. Bookings are essential, so call 07 5554 6542 to nab your spot.

Margarita Cartel

Burleigh Heads

If you’ve been missing Margarita Cartel’s dine-in vibes, with colourful chairs, mini cactus and Mexican tapestry, the heartbreak is over. Opening up their tables to hungry locals, you can expect their usual modern Mexican street food with a South American twist plus plenty of flowing margaritas. Still keen on eating in? These guys are still offering takeaway, so head to their website and order online.

Osteria del Mare

Burleigh Heads

Throwing open their doors last weekend, Osteria del Mare is now taking bookings for up to 10 people across two seatings—5pm and 6.45pm. With new dishes popping up on their menu, like Polpette al Sugo (classic meatballs) or salmon pizza, now you have even more of a reason to head out and eat. To reserve a table, call 07 5576 6169.

I Like Ramen

Nobby Beach

Nothing warms us up like a hot bowl of ramen, so the news that I Like Ramen has re-opened couldn’t come at a better time. With seatings available Wednesday through to Sunday, flick them a message on FB to reserve your spot. And for takeaway lovers, you can still get your fix between 5pm and 9pm.

Mr PP’s

Launching with a special set menu for lunch and dinner, you’ll be treating your tastebuds to flavour-packed Italian dishes like, handmade spaghetti with rock lobster ragu, grilled rib-eye with chat potatoes and a crumbly pastry tart, topped with gelato.
