Queensland Government restrictions have forced The Village Markets to cease the running of both their Burleigh Heads and Stones Corner events for the foreseeable future. With hundreds of small businesses left with no market to trade at, it’s now more important than ever to get behind these businesses during this uncertain time.
In true TVM-style, co-founders Marissa Bowden and Sarah Schoeller have come up with a new way for the public to show love to local Gold Coast creatives. After the success of their first online market at the end of March, TVM will be hosting a second installment of their market online through their Instagram profile, from Friday 17 April to Sunday 19 April.
The entire market will be online, including fashion designers, artists, vintage stores, ceramicists makers creators and more. It will even feature food vendors as well as live music by local artists. The products and brand will be showcased via The Village Markets Instagram story and will allow viewers to take advantage of special offers all while knowing they’re supporting those who need it most during this unprecedented time
Having helped to provide the launchpad for global brands such as Peony Swimwear, Cleopatra’s Bling and Duke of London, there’s no denying this is a special community worth supporting.
Make sure to be following The Village Markets on Instagram and stay tuned over the weekend to shop up a storm.
