Melbourne’s Getting A Tinnie, Pie And Pooch Party

It’s like someone opened our brain, plucked out a daydream, then built a festival to match. Presenting the Tinnie Pie Party—a one-day event dedicated to tinnies, pies and puppies. Not necessarily in that order.

The whole thing is being run by Young Henrys and the legends at The Pie Shop, Matt Wilkinson’s fresh-baked pie emporium in Brunswick East. It’s time to grab your pooch and prep your stomach. Here’s a sneak peak...

Start with the food. The Pie Shop lads will be slinging pies all day long, including two new limited-edition flavours: beef and ale (for you), and kangaroo and veg (for your pup). Young Henrys are bringing the ice-cold tinnies, and there’s gonna be live DJ tunes (courtesy of DJ Fat Dog).

The boys will also be running three competitions on the day, and the prizes are allegedly “boozy”. Think deconstructed pie plate art, a doggie obstacle course, and an owner/pooch look-a-like comp.

Did we mention you can snag a tinnie and pie for just $10? Where did we put that lead...
