five awesome things to do in sydney

People say there’s nothing better than the weekend, and while that may be true, the weekdays can be pretty damn good too. Embracing the mid week hangout means more time with your mates, and ultimately more fun in your life. And because we’re all about fun here at The Urban List we’ve rounded up not one, but five awesome things to do in Sydney this week.

Tuesday’s Tequila de Degustacion At Luis Tan

Bondi

Brighten up an average Tuesday night with a tequila degustation at Luis Tan. Get ready for an epic feast for the senses, and who couldn't resist pairing it with our beloved tequila? This five-course degustation is designed by the one and only Leandro Legname (Head Chef at Luis Tan) and each course is matched with a different tequila concoction thanks to mixologist Thalita Gabriela Alves (of Bulletin Place), and we all know that’s the real reason we’re all going. This degustation will have you rolling happily into hump day, with dishes like fresh salmon ceviche, tequila tacos and slow marinated chicken with tangy pico salsa.

Young Henrys’ Beer Mates

Newtown

The two absolute best things about summer are mid week beers, hanging out with your mates— and tattoos! Yes, we’re serious. This week grab the crew and head on down to Young Henrys’ Beer Mates where you’ll get a tatt and a $200 beer tab for your efforts. All you and your mate have to do is pick a tattoo from the Sinn x YH Flash Sheet collection, take it to King St Tattoo and post the photo of you two legends on Insta with the tags @YoungHenrys #betterwithmates. They’ll then sling you the bar tab and that’s it. Trust us their tats are pretty awesome and it’s wayyyy better than an old fashioned best friends charm necklace. This could quite literally be the most Newtown thing to happen (maybe ever). If you’re keen click here for all of the deets.

Where: King St Tattoo – 192 King Street, Newtown

When: 15th December, Closing date for entry.

Cost: $50, for your tattoo
