We all need a little bit of fun to break up the work week amirite? We’ve done the hard work for you and gathered together five fab activities for you to get involved in this week—solo or with your mates, it’s guaranteed to be a good time.
If you’re into fine food, books, theatre, yoga, dogs, or all of the above (of course you are) then keep on reading because these are our favourite things to do in Sydney this week.
Truffle Series @ Jamie's Italian
You like truffle, we like truffle, Jamie Oliver likes truffle—that’s why Jamie’s Italian will be running a truffle special in their restaurants this month. We’re all excited. Each week they’ll be rolling out a new surprise truffle dish and first off the rank this week is a truffled flash steak with truffle butter, shaved truffle and portobello mushrooms—oh and fries too. Is there anything better than sipping Italian red wine while diving into a spectacularly truffle-filled meal? Nope.

Lovesweats selects a new charity to throw their support behind each month, drawing people out of social isolation (think surf therapy, support for the homeless and research support for suicide prevention). This is the perfect opportunity to give back and get fit while doing so. Get your tickets online here.

Top Dog Film Festival
Well, it’s about damn time someone listened to us and combined our love of films and doggos. Catch a series of short films ALL ABOUT PUPPERS (their skills, their bonds with owners and their pure cuteness) at the Hayden Orpheum in Cremorne from this week. We’ll repeat—this is a film festival dedicated to dogs, so obviously that’s all the information you need. If you had any sort of plans this Wednesday consider them cancelled, because this film festival is a non-negotiable.
