Indoor plants are all the rage right now and we’re the first to admit we’re totally obsessed. Plants in the kitchen, plants in the lounge room, plants in the bedroom…plants everywhere!
So, you can imagine how stoked we were to learn that another cute-as-a-button indoor plant shop is coming to the Coast. You’re listening now, aren’t you?
Popping up in Burleigh Heads; tucked underneath the retro Sunbeau Court apartments, a short walk north of Justin Lane, this beautiful little oasis—dubbed GreenFolk Botany Shop—specialises in indoor plants and garden wares. GreenFolk’s sole focus on these lush babies means you’ll get in-depth knowledge and tips to turn that black thumb of yours into a green one. Winning!
Owned by Emily Cloke, the space is home to much-coveted species like Fiddle Leaf Figs and Devils Ivy, with lesser known, harder-to-get plants like Friendship Plants and Swiss Cheese Plants. On top of bagging a new plant friend, there are also baskets and designer pots, indoor gardening tools, collectables, coffee table books and a gorgeous range of botanical artworks by the talented Holly Neilson from PaperHands to take home. As a trained horticulturist and landscape designer, Emily will also be offering styling and hire services for your next event or photo shoot, or perhaps you need a hand with plant sitting? Yes, it’s a thing.
Launching this weekend with giveaways and garden treats (Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April from 10am), pop by GreenFolk and give a warm welcome. But be warned, you won’t leave empty-handed.
