If you’re a green thumb, botany bandit or, like us, flora and fauna isn’t really your forte; there’s no denying greenery is essential for interior styling.
Which is why we were super excited to hear that boutique botany shop, Green Folk, has announced they’re opening a leafy outlet in Burleigh’s Justin Lane!
Perhaps you can list all of the succulents, evergreens and herbs, or you know your exact ratios of sunlight and water; or maybe you find that keeping something green for longer than a week is a prick of a job. Owner, horticulturist and landscape designer, Emily Cloke, has you covered with one-of-a-kind pots and plants you can’t kill, easy plants that thrive on neglect and those that grow under extra tender love and care. Whatever your gardening level, soon you can create your very own urban jungle with help from this Burleigh newbie.
Green Folk can help with plant styling for your events, hire for photo shoots and even plant-inspired prints and accessories for your home. Or, if you seriously want to develop your green thumb skills, check out their workshops (soon to be announced). Oh, and did we mention plant sitting? Yes, if you’re heading away and need someone to look after your growing brood, contact the team at Green Folk and no doubt you’ll come home with your luscious greenery looking better than you left it.
Set to open mid April, make plans to head down to Green Folk in Justin’s Lane and turn your Gold Coast home into a Pinterest or Instagram sensation. You can thank us later.
