If you’re one of the rare few who can sidestep a perfectly-cooked pizza for freshly-made pasta, this is for you.
We already know Justin Lane are the lords when it comes to plating up some of the best pizza on the Gold Coast, and with the recent coronavirus restrictions, they’ve had to make some tough decisions. One of those being that rather than serving their whole menu takeaway, the team are now solely focussed on cooking up hot takeaway pizzas for you to feast on at home.
So if you’re one of their devoted pasta-lovers and your heart just broke in two, we get it. But wait, there’s more news.
Thankfully, Justin Lane have come up with the brilliant idea to sell the handmade pasta and sauces which usually grace their menus to the masses, so that you’ll be able to whip up a fresh, stomach-filling meal in your own kitchen.
We can only see this as a winning scenario—it’s as fresh as you can get, because you’ve literally just made it. And, you could also fool your iso buddy into thinking you actually made the whole damn thing yourself, including rolling out that ridiculously good-looking spaghetti. See? Everybody wins.
Offering 500-gram rigatoni or spaghetti packs ($10), which should be enough for two to three people or left-overs for tomorrow, as well as a lip-smacking sage pesto ($5) or lamb ragu sauce ($9), we highly doubt this will be a one-time love affair. Plus, they’ve even thought of the little things—adding buffalo mozzarella or fresh basil in there, if you wish.
You’ll be able to pick up your take-home ingredients or get the tasty parcel delivered straight to your door on Tuesdays and Fridays, so don’t forget to place your order with the Justin Lane crew by 9pm the night before.
