If you’re a fan of Sundance, Cannes and Toronto’s film festivals then you’re going to want to clear your calendar this weekend because the Coast’s annual flick fest is once again upon us.
In it’s fourth year, the Sanctuary Film Festival is a true celebration of all things on the big screen, with this year’s roster of flicks set to be the best yet. The three-day event will showcase more films than ever before with 38 must-see flicks selected from over 150 submissions from 14 countries.
Avid movie-goers can catch one-off screenings at The Village Theatre and Open Air Cinema, along with exclusive screenings of the festival’s Documentary and Australian Feature Film Award winners.
The red carpet is being rolled out for a number of after-dark soirees when some of the industry’s biggest stars come out to play including the cast and crew of Dead Squad: Temple of the Undead. The film was directed by Conan Stevens, famous for playing ‘The Mountain’ in Game of Thrones.
There’s a range of free and ticketed events available with the first screening kicking off at 6pm on Satuday December 1. For the full program click here.
