Pull Up A Stool And Make Your Own Gin At The Gold Coast’s Newest Distillery

A gin masterclass in action at Gold Coast distillery, Wildflower Gin.

Gin, whether it’s served straight, with tonic over ice or mixed in a cocktail, is a perennial favourite of ours. Sure, we love to drink it, but now we can make it too, and so can you. That’s right, you can now sip your very own bespoke gin and it’s all possible thanks to the legends at the Gold Coast’s newest distillery, Wildflower Gin.

Held over two gintastic hours, you’ll be taken through the history of gin, learning about the botanicals used and how this local distillery makes its gin.

But it’s not all work, no play. The reigns will then be handed over to you, as you use your new skills to choose botanicals and create your very own unique blend. The gin will be distilled using the distillery’s 2.5-litre alembic copper stills and you’ll walk away with a 500ml bottle filled with your creation. How cool is that?!

You’ll also be sipping on Wildflower’s signature gin—a subtle balance of juniper, lemon myrtle and gentle hints of the distiller's backyard honey—along the way, so don’t worry about quenching your thirst.
