Let the dad jokes and good times roll this weekend as we celebrate all things fathers. You’ll certainly be in the good books if you take your dad, or main man, in your life to one (or all) of these restaurants.
Just don’t forget to laugh at his incredibly funny (note the sarcasm) jokes, it is his weekend after all, as you check out one of these 6 Sydney restaurants this weekend.
The newly renovated, and oh so good-looking, Brigade Dining is celebrating dads this weekend with the ultimate culinary experience. Most dads have been their children’s unofficial ATM for the past gazillion years so it’s now time to pay yours back by shouting him to a 600g pure Angus rib-eye steak for $24 (that’s one big steak!). For other members of the fam, you can order off Brigade Dining’s a la carte lunch menu, which is sure to be just as delicious.

The Epping Club
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and you will certainly be in your dad’s good books this weekend if you take him to The Epping Club. This Fathers’ Day, the good people at The Epping Club are celebrating alllll day long. That’s right folks, breakfast, lunch and dinner are all taken care of. Start the day with the buffet breakfast of champions, followed by a three-course lunch at Rawson’s, the club’s fine dining restaurant. For the grand finale, dad can eat for free in the brasserie for dinner. We promise not to judge you if you stay for all three meals (we would in fact be quite jealous).

Zhu Canton is The Randwick Club’s latest and greatest Cantonese restaurant, offering traditional Asian fare with a modern twist. Opening last week, we promise you it serves all kinds of yummy things including yum cha and fresh seafood dishes such as mud crab, Murray cod and baby abalone, which we guarantee dad won’t be able to get enough of (us included). Fathers get one free drink as well, which pretty much seals this excellent deal in our books.
Get the famiglia together this weekend at Fratelli Fresh to eat all of the bellissimo Italian food (and trust us, there’s a lot). Fratelli Fresh is one of Australia’s leading providores and with multiple stores in Sydney and now one in Melbourne, there really isn’t any excuse not to celebrate all things papàs this Sunday. The best part is that all dads will receive a ridiculously yummy piece of banoffee pie and coffee on the house. Remember to play your cards right so you don’t miss out on a bite or two.
There’s no need to fly to France this weekend to say je t’aime papa! Just head to Café Ananas at Circular Quay and tuck into their mouthwatering Bavette steak with Darling Downs wagyu with a Vixen craft beer for $38. C’est délicieux!
O Bar and Dining
It’s time to say goodbye to the good ole’ beer belly with O Bar and Dining’s newest cocktails! Chef-come-healthy eating advocate, Michael Moore, has created a range of healthy bevvies for everyone to enjoy, even dads. Don’t worry though; we promise they’re delicious, just minus the sugar. Your dad won’t even notice that the cocktails are made from a selection of natural ingredients, sugar alternatives and ripe seasonal produce, who said things that are fun can’t be healthy? The view at O Bar and Dining ain’t too shabby, either.
