A Poutine Party Is Happening In Sydney

By Ange Law
29th Jun 2017

If you think the 4th of July is the biggest day next month has planned—think again. Canada Day is hitting Sydney this weekend and it involves (you guessed it) poutine.

Newtown Hotel has all of the delicious Canadian clichés accounted for—with maple-infused vodka cocktails AND maple glazed wings, epic Caesars (wayyyy better than a bloody Mary), and our personal fave, OTT poutine. Obviously there’ll also be ice hockey playing alllllll afternoon (because Canada) so you’ll want to throw on your jersey and head on down.

If you want to score yourself a free drink, flash your Canadian passport at the door, then get down to the DJ sets kicking off at 6pm, and playing well into the night.

The details:

What: Canada Day
When: Saturday 1 July, from midday
Where: Newtown Hotel
Cost: free entry

There's also a huge So Fresh party happening this weekend, SEE.
