What happens when you combine flowers, mulled wine and stars? Who knows TBH, but you can find out IRL at the Calyx in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney this June.

For one night only Dr Angel Lopez-Sanchez will be hosting a night of winter astronomy over mulled wine (or cider) in our fair city. For only $15 a pop, this genius will point out bright deep sky objects such as the Jewel Box in the Southern Cross, globular cluster Omega Centauri, and bright nebulae in Sagittarius. You might even catch a glimpse of Jupiter and Saturn.

Now guys, we're sorry to say this one sold out pretty much as soon as it was announced. There's no reason to panic, with the legends over at the Royal Botanic Gardens creating a waitlist menaing you'll be the first to know as soon as a new date is announced, and the word on the street is they're looking at not one, but two extra events.

Consider this your official hot tip. Beats scrolling your ‘gram feed, just sayin’.
