Barzaari, is one of the new Eastern Mediterranean venues around Chippendale plating up solid feasts with a marketplace flare. Basically, the crew here will be serving up an entirely vegetarian menu for one day and it’s stacked with a food-coma-worthy lineup of goods.
Dishes on the menu include smoked eggplant in a pickle and chickpea in cumin tahini with bigger feeds looking like slow-cooked farro loaded with all the spinach, almonds and roast fennel.
On the dessert-front, you’ll find carob and salted caramel baklava served with ice-cream plus a blistered buttermilk ricotta decked with rose, rhubarb and crumb honeycomb.
