Two half-wheels of raclette cheese being melted.

Sydney’s famous Bastille Festival may be postponed until October—but the crew behind this iconic French festival are making sure you get your cheese and wine fix way before then.

This basically comes in the form of various "Revolution Boxes”: home-delivered French food and wine packs worthy of your best winter food coma.

Alongside a massive, family-size cheese and wine box, packed with 1.5kg worth of French cheese, six fancy French wines, baguettes, jams and access to a live wine masterclass—the pièce de résistance has to be the raclette box.

Loaded with 500g of raclette cheese straight from the wheel for your at-home melting and scraping delight, as well as a bottle of Alsace wine, charcuterie, potatoes, pickles and French baguettes—this is the cold weather feasting dream we’ve been hanging out for.

And if you’re not quite sure how to go about prepping your raclette, your box comes with step-by-step instructions and tasting notes to enjoy your vino.

If gooey, molten cheese is absolutely your jam, there’s also a fondue box, which comes with three different cheeses ready to be melted, pickles, garlic, Kirsch cherry liqueur, bread and a bottle of Savoie wine.

To make things even better, buying a box also means you’ll be supporting locals who are struggling at the moment. For every Revolution Box you buy, the Bastille Festival team will sponsor a feed from Meals On Wheels.

Boxes range from $95 to $249 and can be delivered to most Sydney suburbs, or picked up from 37 George Street, The Rocks.
