The Best Of William St Festival

By Anastasia Nielsen - 30 Sep 2013

William Street Festival celebrated its 5th birthday in style Saturday past, with market stalls, live music, ping pong tournaments and tasty treats dressing the little laneway. The terrace-jumbled street was brought to life with shoppers, foodies and families for a serious celebration.

The IV Collective hosted a pop-up mini beach complete with sun chairs for sun bathing, while kids were well entertained with face painting and scrabble competitions.

Italian hot dogs from 10 William St, tacos from Cantina Mobil and greenery from The Veggie Patch were the order of the day. Dessert was catered for by Serendipity Ice Cream, William Pear offered delicious smores, and mouth-watering macarons arrived via Gooseberry Catering.

Street-wide discounts in-store meant that some serious shopping was undertaken amongst the activities.

Stomachs full, purse empty, it was time to amble home.
