Sydney has its fair share of epic things you can get delivered to your door. Like cannoli, boozy tea, cheese, charcuterie, puzzles and potted plants (more on that here). And in our ongoing bid to live our best lives in self-isolation, we’ve uncovered yet another epic door drop from Sydney’s one-and-only butter king: Pepe Saya.
While you can absolutely have Pepe Saya’s unbeatable suite of butter products delivered to your abode (the salted or unsalted, organic or regular 255g rounds of butter, pots of crème fraîche and mascarpone, cartons of buttermilk, jars of ghee and lemon curd), Pepe also has a breakfast box that will absolutely brighten up your day (or someone else’s, if you want to spread the love).
Pepe’s breakfast box is a collab with their sister company Crumpets by Merna, and in it, you will find a six-pack of fluffy, fresh-baked sourdough crumpets (to eat today or stow away in the freezer for up to three months).
You’ll also get six 15g servings of Pepe Saya butter, a 200ml pot of crème fraîche and a jar of lemon curd—all for $35.
Merna’s crumpets are made in Sydney with high quality, local ingredients. Eat them with a coat of butter or honey, use them to jazz up eggs benedict or, hell, go all out and make yourself a crumpet breakfast burger. Merna also sells vegan coconut crumpets and blueberry crumpets.
