Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! Why the delights of chocolate have us all so entranced, fascinated and well, addicted, is a mystery. Perhaps it is all those positive health benefits, such as antioxidants, boosted cognitive abilities, reduced blood pressure—ha ha let's ignore the expanded waistline.

So, to celebrate the month of Easter and our favourite vice, Jones The Grocer is holding a Chocolate Appreciation class on Wednesday the 16th and an Easter Eggstravaganza class on Saturday the 19th of April.

Chocolate Appreciation 16th April

Learn everything there is to know about chocolate, from bean to bar. You will be taught the art of tempering and moulding, with your very own take home bag of Easter goods. From taste testing and learning the origins, this chocolate class is a lot of fun. $40 per person, 6:30pm to 8pm.

Easter Eggstravaganza 19th April

This one is for the kids, sorry big kids. Perfect for six to 12 years, the simple chicken egg will be transformed into delicious chocolate ice cream lollipops. Entertaining and very hands on. $30 per person, 10am to 11am.

Along with classes, Jones The Grocer has a special Easter menu, including: lavender slow-roast lamb shoulder with pea puree and baby carrots; and house baked chocolate hot cross bun bread and butter pudding with cinnamon ice cream. The menu starts at two courses for $28 per person and three courses for $37 per person.
