It’s the official season of Christmas antics, festivals, beach days and the bountiful trips to the trusty ol’ farmer’s market to get prepped for summertime feasting. When it comes to the end of the year, there’s nothing like wandering through all the stalls, vendors and food trucks on a balmy day, so make sure you scratch this boozy blowout into your schedule.
Donned the Craft Drinks Market, it’s Australia’s first boozy farmer’s market and it will be lined with our country's most exciting artisanal brewers. That means you’ll be in for a heap of tastings spanning beer, spirits, wine and cider from local brewers, distillers and winemakers. On the day, you can also listen to talks on booze and up-skill at masterclasses and cocktail demonstrations designed to build your knowledge on a bunch of homegrown drops and hops.
Juggernauts on the stallholder line-up include Manly Spirits, Brix Distillers, Batch Brewing, Otter Craft Distilling, Brookies (Cape Byron distillery), Ascella Wines and ALTD Spirits.
And keep your eye out for Treat Dreams (just the absolute kings of vegan chocolate) who will be whipping up boozy sweets on the day.
Head here to nab yourself some tickets.
