Hands up if you’re still on-board with the ever-trending, timeless and delicious espresso martini?
Well, you’re in luck because a festival dedicated to the ultimate caffeinated cocktail is coming to Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Hosted by the legends at Manly Spirits Co., you can expect immersive masterclasses, a coffee sensory experience by the coffee kings at Seven Miles and boozy food by Manly newcomer Peanut Butter Jelly.
This ode to espresso martinis has been dreamt up to celebrate Manly Spirits’ new Blackfin coffee liqueur. You’ll get a behind the scenes tour of the distillery with head distiller Tim Stones—revealing the painstaking process behind Blackfin (beans cold brewed for around 18 hours, then mixed into premium vodka with native botanical and cinnamon myrtle and sea minerals).
You’ll also be given a cocktail upon arrival as well as a tasting board of coffee liqueur infused drinks and dishes to match. On Peanut Butter Jelly’s menu is an espresso martini taco—now that’s innovative.
