29th Oct 2013

Sydney's Belmore Park is set to transform into a bustling hub of film, music, food and cultural activity for five days in November, as part of the very first Sydney Intercultural Film Festival (SIFF).

From November 13th -17th 'Cinema Park' will stage 150 films (spanning feature, short and documentary genres) from six continents, and will host over 100 international food and entertainment stalls. More than 30 cultures will be represented, including: Chinese; Arab; Indian; Vietnamese; Korean; Polish; Indonesian; Greek; and Japanese—among others.

Wednesday the 13th will see an exploration into the world of dance; Thursday the 14th will relish the genre of horror; and Friday the 15th will bid patrons to dress up as their favourite movie character—with cash prizes on offer!
Former Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan will kick off the celebrations with a free concert on opening night.
