An Italian Easter Spit Roast With Berta

The mouthwatering aroma of succulent lamb roasting on a spit will be wafting across Sydney's laneways as Berta prepares an Italian-style Easter feast.

The lamb spit roast will hold pride of place in Berta's side laneway, where diners can watch the tender meat slowly roast through the floor-to-ceiling windows, in anticipation of their Easter banquet.

The regular Tuesday Sagra dinner, featuring a four-course set menu based upon one key ingredient, will centre around the spit extravaganza on the 15th of April.

Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th the Easter banquet will also be accompanied by a smaller à la carte menu, the Easter banquet is $60 per head. And to round out the Italian-style Easter feast, Thursday the 17th will offer a traditional Italian lunch at $55 a head, with a range of specialty Italian wines available.
