There are many things to unravel here so settle in.
This year, Kylie Kwong has big things planned. The first piece of information you need to digest is the fact she’ll be introducing a brand new dining concept to Sydney which is set to preach a bustling, casual eatery with a small dining space.
The new space (the location is still yet to be confirmed) will be a creative collaboration between Kylie and Adelaide-based Khai Liew so get excited (that means big beautiful things are on the horizon).
The flip side is that this new venture will see the closing of Billy Kwong. Let’s just sit with that for a moment.
Yep, after 19 years and first making its appearance on the old Crown Street and then Macleay Street in Potts Point, BK is shutting its doors (for good, this time).
However, Billy Kwong will still be open for business until a new tenant is secured for the existing site so you’ll want to watch this space for further updates.
You can also load up on Japanese Tex-Mex tacos at this local surf club.
