There’s a new burger truck in town, and this one is serving up epic American style burgers to the beats of old-school RnB and hip hop, bringing everyone in the Westside a block party like they’ve never seen before.
Popping up in the ‘burb’s car-wash car-parks, The Burger Run is making their much needed, not to mention highly anticipated, debut and it could very well be the coolest food truck we’ve seen to date.
90s kids and fans of the Biggie Smalls and Tupac (guilty) won’t be able to avoid a selfie with the truck, a mural to the rapper legends and the perfect backdrop for said block-party, with DJs pumping out the tunes to keep customers in check as they queue for their beef patties and shaker shack fries. They’ve even dedicated their menu to the much loved musical artists with themed eats like the Notorious- a beef patty with cheese, onion and special sauce, as well as weekly specials reminiscent of the team’s recent travels state side.
The burgers are a testament to the chef, Aziz John Ishak, who has evidently spent plenty of time trialling the burgers of the States to bring us what can only be describe as juicy goodness to the streets of Sydney’s west.
With cheesy fries and their own style of poutine on the menu, we looooooooove poutine, the burgers aren’t the only thing calling people to the car-wash every weekend. With a theme of recurring sell-out events, this is clearly Australia’s most wanted.
