Pizza lovers of Sydney, listen up! One of Sydney’s best pizzerias, Lucio Pizzeria has thrown open their doors to the hungry (and authentic pizza deprived) people of Zetland.
Owned by restaurateur and Head Chef, Lucio De Falco, this Sydney pizza restaurant is his second venture since opening Lucio Pizzeria some eight years ago in Darlinghurst. Lucio says of the opening, “I am thrilled to be launching Lucio Pizzeria in Zetland. It’s wonderful to be a part of the ever evolving and expanding Sydney dining scene. Through our newest menu, I am excited to introduce our diners to an array of delights from the Campania region and Southern Italy.”
Featuring all the faves, including their wonderfully chewy pizza bases topped with traditional Italian ingredients, Lucio Pizzeria in Zetland is also expanding into the delicious world of mozzarella, offering a full-blown mozzarella bar that serves up Italian cheese places and cured meats (OMG).
But let’s not get distracted by the all the mozzarella that could soon be in our bellies. Lucio Pizzeria’s Italian wine list has been hand-picked by Lucio and you can expect to find a great range of red and whites available by the glass and bottle.
We don’t know about you guys, but we’re putting on our elasticised pants and rolling up to this brand new Sydney restaurant to eat our weight in pizza and mozzarella. Buon appetito, Listers!
