Proof that everyone deserves a second chance, Burger Project has certainly shaken off its training wheels and have now got the perfect meat-to-sauce-to-bun ratio down (and are now classified as one of Sydney's best burgers). So it’s a good thing that following the success of the original, Neil Perry has been on the look out for new locations to set up shop and has chosen the MLC Centre as his next burger hangout-to-be.
As part of the MLC Centre’s redevelopment project, Burger Project will take pride of place facing out towards Martin Place, becoming a focal point for CBD dining... We can already see the line of hungry officeworkers.
Born from the legend that is the Rockpool burger, Burger Project brings that same philosophy—juicy sustainable grass fed beef, house made pickles and all-important secret sauce—at wallet-friendly prices. And with eight varieties of burgers to choose from as well as a delectable range of ice-cream desserts and old-fashioned shakes, office lunches just got a whole lot more exciting. Set to open just in time for Christmas, you can end the year right by hoisting up one of these bad boys, sauce stains and all.
Burger Project is one of eight new retailers forming Stage 1 of the MLC redevelopment project, which also include Bun Me, Sumo Salad’s Green Label concept store and Famous Fish Co by Costi.
