In news so fabulous we couldn’t quite believe it, and one that let out a few hectic WTFs around the Sydney office—Oxford Street is saying a big, fat “see ya!” to its lock-out laws.
To celebrate 40 years of Mardi Gras, and Australia FINALLY legalising marriage equality for errrrrrryone, the NSW Government thought it would be pretty chill to let you stay out as long as you damn well please, and spread the love accordingly this March.
Coinciding with the Mardi Gras parade, for one day only on March 3, get ready to party like it’s January 2014 (sort of) with no lockout time for entry into Oxford Street’s venues. Their might still be some alcohol restrictions, but we’re still pretty damn excited about this one. Sydney, we don’t know who you are anymore and we love it.
