For all the beauty fans whose highlight of overseas travel is the hours spent in massive Sephora stores, the wait is finally over! The long awaited Sydney store opened last Friday and in doing so smashed global records, making it one of the most successful Sephora launches ever.
Fans stormed the new Pitt Street Mall store from the moment it opened at midday until closing time. While the Sephora brand is about exploring without pressure to buy, Aussie fans were breaking out their wallets in record numbers. The electric atmosphere was amplified with the appearance of famous tattoo artist Kat Von D who launched a successful namesake range and met with customers who bought her product.
Founded in France in 1969, Sephora was created as an inclusive environment for shoppers to access both luxury and niche brands, showcasing the best of beauty while making it accessible to all.
