Sydney Fashion Sales | Urban List Sydney

Getting into a slump? Winter's almost over, summer’s a little too far away—we're with you, these are tough times. The best remedy? A little retail therapy.

Sales always put a spring in our step and with the super-cool threads on offer from Alice McCALL, 2XU and Deus Ex Machina you’ll be looking good, feeling fresh and strutting your stuff out there like a brand new you.

Check out these three sales this weekend—you won’t regret it.

Storeroom Vintage X 1800 Tequila

Surry Hills' coolest vintage emporium Storeroom Vintage recently moved spots on Crown Street. They also buddied up with 1800 Tequila on an archival capsule—the result of which is a highly coveted collection of 1,800 vintage pieces hand-picked by Storeroom's founder, Lee Bob. He's dressed Kendall Jenner, A$AP Rocky and Halsey, so you know, he's good at clothes. Prices kick off at $60, and there are free tequila cocktails on hand, because, who doesn't want to sip a margarita while shopping?

When: Saturday 17 August, 12pm - 8pm
Where: Storeroom Vintage, 316-318 Crown St, Surry Hills

Deus Ex Machina Extended Pop-Up Sale

If you were kicking yourself for missing out on Deus Ex Machina’s pop-up sale last week, then this will surely make your day. The team at Deus, absolute legends that they are, have extended their pop-up until the end of the month. The discounts are still to-die-for with jackets and knitwear for $55, tees for $15, denim starting at $40 and bags for just $31. And of course, the clothes are still the ultimate cool kid staples that they’ve always been. Head here for more info and—don’t miss out on your second chance to score a bargain.

2XU Outlet

We love an outlet. There’s something almost covert about them, because discounts like these make you feel like you’re in on a secret and getting away with something epic. 2XU's online outlet archive is divvied up into under $50, under $100 and under $150, and there are many epic athleisure steals to be had. Side note: the best thing about workout gear is that you can definitely write off any purchases as an investment in your health and general self-care. Even if you don’t end up actually working out in it, leggings are widely and accurately considered to be the comfiest clothes around so it makes sense to stock up.

Lee Mathews

We'll be honest—this sale intel is almost too good to share. Iconic Australian designer Lee Mathews totally wooed us this year at Fashion Week, and while her stunning dresses will typically set you back a pretty penny, her online sale section has timeless pieces from recent collections at a fraction of the cost. For weddings or other fancy shindigs, or just walking down the street, a Lee Mathews piece is the special purchase you totally deserve, especially at 60% off.

AFTRS Library Sale

Yep, it’s a library sale—stay with us here! We love Netflix as much as the next person but we do sometimes yearn for the nostalgia of a physical book, magazine or movie for your at home collection. Plus, who knows, they could go the way of records and become a collectors edition somewhere down the line. With hundreds of books, magazines, DVDs and Blu-rays all costing $5 or less, the AFTRS library sale is definitely worth checking out! Head here for more info.

When: Until Saturday 17 August
