There’s a whole side to Andy Warhol you never knew existed and it’s about time you found it out. Get your artsy side at the ready and go back in time before the days of Campbell’s Soup cans and Marilyn Monroe with Adman: Warhol Before Pop.
Focusing on the formative years of one of the 20th century’s most iconic artists, over 300 objects (from drawings to photographs, shop-front window displays and vintage advertisements) will be on display at the AGNSW and you’re going to love every damn one.
Taking you from Warhol’s first assignment for Glamour magazine, through to his iconic proto-pop experiments of the early 1960s, this is one exhibition you don’t want to miss.
