Mother’s Day has got to be one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants and cafes in Sydney and it’s usually the case that if you don’t have a booking, you’re screwed!

There’s nothing worse than rocking up to a place on the day with mumsie in tow only to discover they can’t fit you in. So, to avoid any embarrassment (and feelings of hatred from mum), we’ve partnered up with Dimmi to compile a list of awesome places you can take mum for a long lunch this Mother’s Day.

And the best bit, if you make a booking via Dimmi from now until Mother’s Day on May 8 and enter the codeword “Catalina” you’ll go in the draw to win a luxury Sydney staycation worth $2,000, with lunch for two at Catalina Rosebay and a night at the Ovolo Woolloomooloo—so get booking and make mum’s day!

And if you’re bringing the whole tribe, their group menu for nine or more will have everyone in a food coma, Italian style.
