ICYMI Good Food Month is the delicious gift that keeps on giving. This year they’re headed down south (to the Southern Highlands) for fancy AF canoe tours that involve you, in a canoe, with snacks and all of the bevs.
First, you’ll need to book yourself a room at either Peppers Craigeburn or Peppers Manor House in the Kangaroo Valley. Then you’ll want to sign yo’self up for the Canoes, Champagne & Canapés Package—this is where the real fun begins.
You’ll cruise through the Morton National Park on a double canoe for you and your BFF. This bad boy has been decked out with ice buckets (because wine and craft beers) and built-in tabletops for your foraged forest canapés (because snacks). Think native yabbie brioche with wild lime mayo, and Loch lamb with a foraged herb crust. Our top pick is the local spring water trout with dill Kipfler potatoes and beetroot pesto, but really, we plan on eating the lot.
When: 27 – 29 October
Where: Peppers Craigeburn Homestead & Peppers Manor House
Cost: from $450 (per room)
We've also teamed up with Good Food Month for a series of epic boozy brunches, see!
