Halloween is just around the corner, which means it’s time to don your spookiest outfits and get your freak on. With pumpkins, cobwebs and skeletons decorating storefronts everywhere, and horror films starting to trend on Netflix, it’s not hard to get into the Halloween spirit. But, if you’re looking for ways to make your Halloween a little (or a lot) more fun this year, then we’ve put together a list of the best Halloween events happening on the GC this scary season. Get ready to scream.

Grandad Jacks Craft Distillery


Let the Halloween celebrations be-gin! Okay, sorry for the pun. But seriously, gin lovers will not want to miss Grandad Jack’s Halloween party. There’ll be live music, gin cocktails, and a $200 prize for best dressed on the night. It’s BYO food, so we recommend rocking up with a pizza and washing it all down with a good old G&T. Nothing scary about that.

Craft House Bar And Restaurant


Local food and drink connoisseurs Craft House are getting a little freaky this Halloween. Think themed eats and cocktails, interactive decorations, and prizes for best dressed, so be sure to wear your scariest attire (but keep it loose fitting because, you know…food).

Night Of The Living Dead At The Stingray Lounge

This Halloween, the QT Hotel are transforming their much loved Stingray Lounge into a spooky Halloween haven. With creepy canapés, blood shots, Halloween themed cocktails and a zombie DJ on the decks, it’s sure to be a killer party (see what we did there?). There’ll also be a prize for the creepiest zombie, so come dressed in your most deadly get up.

The Surfers Paradise Fest-evil is the Gold Coast’s newest Halloween event, bringing a three day Halloween inspired take over to Surfers Paradise. There’ll be Halloween markets, a huge zombie walk, cosplay competitions and heaps more. Halloween Spooktacular At NightQuarter


Gold Coast night markets NightQuarter are transforming their weekly market into a Halloween fright fest. There’ll be a trick or treat hunt, Halloween themed desserts, food and drinks, a zombie fire show, dance party, and a freaky magic show.

Infinite Dessert And Cocktail Bar

Palm Beach 

From Wednesday, local dessert heaven Infinite will transform into a Halloween themed cocktail bar, with props and decorations, a new spooky (but delicious) menu, and take-home treats. Think creepy cocktails, blood milkshakes, and a pumpkin, lemon and salted caramel graveyard dessert. And, if you want to go all out, there will be a costume event on Friday and Saturday night, with prizes for best dressed.

Fright Nights At Movie World


Get your scream on at Movie World this Halloween with their themed Fright Nights.
