High Cheese Afternoon Teas Are A Thing And This Is Where You Can Smash Them

Cheese High Teas. High Cheeses. Whatever you want to call them—dedicated cheese-themed afternoon teas are a thing and they’re swapping out the traditional scones, jam and cream for, well, all things cheese. And we’re digging them!

The gang at Pearls Bar at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort in Main Beach have created every savoury lover’s dream with three tiers of cheesy goodness. Think mini cheesecakes, ricotta coffee mousse, sticky cream cheese cinnamon rolls, cheese scones and parmesan crostini. And of course, there’s also generous slabs of creamy camembert, zingy cheddar and tasty blue accompanied by salty prosciutto, fresh fruit and crackers.

The tasty experience will set you back $50 per person but if you really want to push the boat out you can upgrade your High Cheese to include a glass of wine for $60 or a whole bottle for $75. We recommend the latter.

High Cheese sadly won’t last forever (it wraps up at the end of August), so grab your cheesy mates and book in stat.
