QT Hotel Gold Coast is a hotel with a reputation that precedes it, being one of the Coast’s most hyped and acclaimed accommodation choices. But it’s not all talk–if you’re looking for a truly special hotel on the Gold Coast, QT is definitely one to check out.
The Gold Coast is a famous party playground, and QT manages to be both a quiet reprieve from the madness, and a totally happening joint all on its own.
The rooms at QT Hotel are lush, managing to walk the line between stylish and cosy. We were lucky enough to have views of the ocean, but our friends were treated to mountain views, so whatever your perspective, it’s all pretty great.
If you can tear yourself away from the mini bar, QT Hotel’s Stingray Lounge is on hand to keep you sauced. This Gold Coast bar has a pop art theme and is usually poppin’ on the weekends, with over 50 in-house tequilas–you’ve been warned. Sink a few cocktails while admiring the ocean views, safe in the knowledge that bed is just a quick elevator ride away.
In terms of chow, Yamagen, QT Hotel’s teppanyaki restaurant, is a lot of fun (if you’ve ever known the thrilling fear of having a raw egg thrown straight at your face, you’ll know the appeal of a bustling teppanyaki bar) and if you’re after a quieter night out, is also a sushi and sashimi restaurant.
There’s also Bazaar restaurant, which includes a–wait for it–SEAFOOD BUFFET. Yeah we did.
And do not even think about staying at QT Hotel without visiting their famous day spa, SpaQ. The treatments and facilities are out of this world and will leave you feeling like a brand new person.
When you’re not busy eating, drinking, and getting pampered (so, for those whole five minutes) hit the pool and the tennis court or jump on a bike and get exploring; QT Hotel also offers complimentary use of their adorable retro bikes, bless their cotton socks.
In short, QT Hotel on the Gold Coast is worth the hype–you’ll have a ball.
