If you’ve hit the streets of Brissie, you’re no doubt familiar with the epic establishment that is The Yiros Shop. And if you've ever found yourself wishing we had a shop of our own on the Gold Coast, then your wish is about to finally come true.
But just in case you need a tasty refresher, The Yiros Shop slings delectable traditional Greek yiros (AKA tender meat on a rotisserie) on soft Greek pitas filled with pork, tomato, onion, parsley, tzatziki, crumbled feta and oregano that will absolutely blow you away.
Slated to open on the corner of James Street and Connor Street, Burleigh Heads is the lucky location on the Gold Coast that’s about to get a whole lot more Greek.
The fresh addition—which will open its doors at the beginning of November—has a whole new offering to their menu, including Greek-style breakfast choices, coffee and will also serve local beers on tap throughout their lunch and dinner trade. Can we get a ‘hell yes’?
The team at The Yiros Shop has also been working on a vegan specialty range that’ll launch soon, so you’ll be able to get in on the action even if you’re meat-free.
We’ll keep you posted on more deets as we get them but until then, keep your eyes peeled and get your stomach ready for all the delicious yiros it can handle.
