A film festival about dogs is happening in Sydney this December. We know we could stop trying to convince you to go with only that to go on, but we won’t, so here are the specifics.
Just to be clear, this is a festival that is showing movies celebrating dogs, rather than it being a place to celebrate your own pup, but you can totally bring them along. The films on show will all feature dogs in one way or another and this is a totally family friendly event, since all of the films will be rated G and PG.
The best part is that all of the proceeds will be donated to dog charity, Young Diggers Dog Sqaud, which is potentially the coolest charity we have ever heard of because they train ex-pound dogs as service dogs for returned veterans suffering from PTSD. Now you’re definitely buying tickets aren’t you? Yeah. You are.
What: The Good Dog! International Film Festival
When: Friday 2 – Saturday 3 December from 7pm
Where: Joynton Park – Victoria Park Parade, Zetland
There is also a dog food truck in Australia right now, FYI.
