Sydney, we know you’re complete suckers for a good old-fashioned cream-filled and crunchy cannoli.
Understandably, the glorious combo of crisp fried pastry stuffed with silky ricotta can do no wrong, and to be honest, neither can a quick road trip down the coast. Which is exactly why you need to buckle up, hit the road and slam on your favourite Spotify playlist—because a Cannoli Day with $1 cannolis is happening in Fairy Meadow, but only for a day.
If you’re a regular road-tripper around the Illawarra region, then you’ll know a thing or two about the epic baked goods happening at Pasticceria Massimo Papa. The team here is renowned for plating up one hell of a limoncello cake and epic cannoli towers worthy of your deepest food coma ever.
Now, for the fifth year running, Pasticceria Massimo Papa is throwing its annual Cannoli Day, which means you’ll be able to scoop up these creamy treats for $1 each, and then heftier cannolis for $2.
Along with this, if you’re a big fan of Sicilian treats you'll be stoked to know there will also be a cannoli eating competition (be the first person to eat 20 large cannoli in the one-hour time limit). If you take out the winning spot, you’ll get $150 in hard cash, which ultimately means more cannoli for you.
