Winter Cocktails By Saké At The Rocks

It’s no secret that we pretty much all love Saké Restaurant & Bar, a Sydney institution offering contemporary Japanese fusion dishes. And although winter is technically over, there’s no harm in indulging in Saké’s winter cocktail for a little longer, right? Until the middle of September, head to The Rocks to enjoy a Spice Sekkusu, their take on our good friend, the margarita, with Herradura Silver, Grand Mariner, lime juice and a homemade syrup of mango, chilli and sour mix. Your tastebuds can thank us later.

When: Until mid-September
Where: 12 Argyle Street, The Rocks

Groove Therapy

If you, like us, love to hit up the d-floor but when you do you look more like your drunk uncle at Christmas than Queen B, Groove Therapy is your answer. If this isn’t a reason alone to sign up straight away for the all-encompassing dance experience, let us tell you that dancing is scientifically proven to give you benefits that go far deeper than just fitness and flexibility (but also helps given the amount of cronuts we consume on a weekly basis).

Designer and Vintage Pop Up Sale

Because we love to workout, and by workout, we mean shop; we are giddy with excitement over the Designer and Vintage Pop Up Sale in Paddington until the end of October. Up your style street cred with vintage Chanel clothing and accessories, Yves Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Prada, Victoria Beckham, Hermes, Givenchy, Versace and Dior. International and Australian designers will also have samples and pre-loved clothing, shoes, bags and jewellry on offer. Our tip? Don’t forget to stretch and have some post-workout protein (i.e. a big fat chicken burger) once you’ve finished.

Sydney Latin American Film Festival

This week, Latin America is coming to Sydney with the Latin American Film Festival at Circular Quay. A festival of film is always an excellent thing and what’s even better is when it goes for four whole days. That’s four days to immerse yourself in another culture and language without even having to hop on a plane. Opening on Thursday night with 'Jules and Dolores' and going over the weekend until Monday 12th September, you’ll be signing up for salsa classes before you even leave the cinema.

Get the details here.

When: Thursday 8th September – Monday 12th September, various times
