One of Australia’s largest cemeteries will host a hidden sculpture walk this September and before you ask, it won’t be the haunted tour you’re picturing right now. The sculpture walk will mark the 150th anniversary of Rookwood Cemetery (shout out to all of the Sydney Uni students who are already well-acquainted with this spot) and the goal is to debunk all of the terrifying images that have just flooded your mind.
HIDDEN is an outdoor sculpture exhibition, where 40 works will be strategically placed around the oldest sections of the cemetery. It’s all designed for you to wander around, soak up the history of the site, along with the incredible architecture, culture, and historic monuments.
