Earlier this year, Hugo’s Lounge reopened as a pop-up bar and for anyone who remembers many a late night (or early morning) spent at Hugo’s in Kings Cross, you were probably pretty damn excited by this news.
Casablanca’s Eric Jury took over the iconic inner city institution for his pop-up and since it was so successful (AKA, you guys bloody loved it), he hopes to resume regular trading in September.
It’ll reopen as Flamingo Lounge and taking inspiration from the glamour of 1980’s Miami, there will be a cocktail bar, restaurant, nightclub, outdoor balcony lounge and all the other things that made Hugo’s so great. You can also expect a few changes to suit the new, post lock-out laws world of Kings Cross.
Details are still pretty hush-hush, so stay tuned.
