How many times have you and the girls settled for a BYO Thai restaurant as a catch up and ended up dancing on tables? Too many to count? Us too. You asked us where to go for a ladies lunch in Sydney, and we always deliver!

We’re big fans of the girly lunch, and since we know you guys are always on the lookout for places to go for a long lunch in Sydney, we’ve found some of the best group deals so you and your girls can get dolled up, stuff your faces and remind each other why you always end up together. Hope you’re ready!

The Lodge Bar | Balmain

If you’ve never visited The Lodge Bar, then make sure to hightail it down there! You and the ladies will be spoilt rotten when you see the epic feast they offer on Sundays. Chef Jon Cowan serves up a fresh, modern menu for a very reasonable $35 a head. Think Heirloom Tomatoes with homemade rosemary ricotta, Char grilled asparagus with parmesan curd and Grilled Rib eye with Chimmichurri, but let your imagination run wild, because the menu changes every time! And be sure to book – they book out swiftly.

The Botanist | Kirribilli

The guys at The Botanist offer what they call a ‘group feasting’ menu – and they mean it! If you head in before 4pm, you’ll get six of their best share plates, including the famous pork and cider slider, for just $30 a head. A little more hungry than that? The $40 per head menu will score you seven plates and is available lunch and dinner.

The Morrison

The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room

Ladies who lunch will be tickled by The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room’s menu, these guys really know what happens at a girls lunch – and it’s probably not as classy as you’d be expecting. $55 will get you and your posse a glass of bubbles, seven dishes from the menu to share (yes, duck fat chips and chicken lollipops are included, don’t panic), as well as a selection of desserts. Talk about value!

Chiswick | Woollahra

This one might be a little more pricey but we’d argue that anything by chef Matt Moran is absolutely fine by us, not to mention dining at CHISWICK makes you feel like you’ve teleported to a country garden. For $75 you’ll get the best of the farm-to-table menu to share, including a whole roast chicken and that fall-apart Moran family lamb. They’ll even make you a custom cake to be served as dessert if it’s your birthday (or even if it isn’t) if you so desire.

Manly Wine

Manly Wine | Manly

A long lunch in Sydney is one of life’s biggest treats, and doing it beachside pretty much makes it heaven. The recently refurbished Manly Wine offer a $55 per head ‘Bring Me Food’ menu – and bring you food they will! The enormous spread will include everything from crudités to flash fried school prawns and their legendary chocolate brownie with caramel ice cream and hazelnut brittle. Not that hungry and more interested in getting boozed? Nice one. The sharing menu is just $30 per head and will get you the famous sausage roll, chicken sliders and a selection of dainty desserts.

The Tilbury | Woolloomoolloo

If you want to experience the sights and sounds of picturesque Woolloomoolloo Wharf without the huge price tag that can come with it, The Tilbury is the place to be. For $50 on a Saturday or Sunday, they will put aside a designated area for you and 10-30 of your girls, give you a glass of sparkling and fill you up with nibbles before you settle in for a two-course feed. Bonus? One of you will eat for free!
