Start saving that pocket money because you’re about to witness the seriously luxe hotels that are just, oh-so-Sydney. Let’s just say if these bad boys don’t have you ditching reality in exchange for the high life, we don’t know what will.
Think whirlpools, rose-scented milk baths, chandeliers, French provincial courtyards and marble bars. We know. We died too.
Warning: the following content could make you cry. Here are Sydney’s Best Luxury Hotels!
Park Hyatt Sydney
Yep, this bad boy is sitting right on the harbour (oh hey there Opera House and Harbour Bridge) so you already know they mean all kinds of luxe business here. There are 155 rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and one helluva suite-style spa room, rooftop pool and sleek garden terrace so you can wave at all the peasants on the boardwalk with a cocktail in hand.
Shout out to the interior designer because the Westin is just a massive jaw-dropping bonanza. For starters, even the foyer is a glamfest with classic bannisters and a grand staircase. But it’s the plunge baths are truly something else. And we’re just going to call them mini swimming pools because let’s be honest, no normal size bath is that big.
Apart from the fact you can get a full on Merle suckling pig at The Wilmot (just the fancy pants resident restaurant), Primus Hotel also has an epic Lobby Bar serving up everything with a side of grandeur. And don’t worry, we won’t harp on about the Level Seven cocktail bar but just so you know it’s even better than everyone says it is. Also—rooftop pool.
You’re in for an overload of bubble baths, champers and a mantra of #tooblessedtobestressed when you hit up the famous Four Seasons. On top of this, one spa treatment room is evidently not enough, so indulging in all six should be anyone’s list of things to do. Oh, and then there’s Sydney’s largest outdoor heated hotel pool. With a cabana. And whirlpool. We’re done.
No biggie but the Langham houses a tennis court, indoor pool with added star lights and a day spa, just casually. You can also bring your furry friends along here because hey, doggos can luxe it all out too.
Look, when there’s a gigantic pool overlooking the Pacific, it’d just be rude not to splurge out, right? It’s luxe beach vibes, ridiculously good food and wine, and seriously stunning views.
Sheraton On The Park
Can we take a moment to appreciate the Conservatory Bar here? Because the chandelier is everything. As is the rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of the Sydney skyline.
The first thing you need to know here is that the bar is made entirely out of marble. The second thing you need to know is that there’s an indoor lap pool, saunas and steam rooms for ultimate relaxation. The third and final thing you need to know is that some of these rooms have a double spa bath. We’ll just let that sink in for a bit.
Shangri-la Hotel, Sydney
It’s a big deal when you can literally watch the world sail by at the Shangri-la’s Horizon Club. But add an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sundeck, rose-scented milk baths and the biggest hotel rooms ever… we just have no words.
We don’t need to tell you that the InterContinental is every Sydney-sider’s dream staycay. And with marble bathrooms, a French provincial courtyard and an iconic rooftop pool with a bar and lounge we totally get why. You’ll also find Mr G’s Bar & Grill located conveniently on the ground level which means dinner is absolutely sorted.
