Roast chicken is a classic at the best of times but at Glebe’s Thievery, it’s the foundation of all delicious feasts.
Chicken and Toum Tuesdays are kicking off at this Lebanese goldy which means a special menu loaded with all the juicy chargrill chicken packed with paprika, cumin, coriander, honey, molasses and garlic. And of course, if there’s chicken, there’s creamy toum (just the ultimate garlic dip ever) which is made traditionally by hand here every week.
The limited time menu will also include roast cauliflower fattoush, smashed potatoes (cooked three boards) and Thievery’s famous burnt butter hummus and baba ganoush dips. And alongside all the feeds you’ll want to sip on the sweet red hibiscus iced-tea.
For anyone with a burning sweet tooth, there will also be a super rich Valrhona dark chocolate tartless tart and for fellow vegetarians and vegans, the team here have also created the ultimate falafels served up with spicy tahini sauce and an assortment of pickles.
