Golden Age Cinema & Bar Spring Program

30th Oct 2013

Housed at the iconic Paramount Pictures Building in Surry Hills, the Golden Age Cinema & Bar has just announced its spring program—an eclectic cinematic mix of the classic and the contemporary.

Designed to appeal to even the most inquisitive of film buffs, the program has been set by Kate Jinx, the cinema's in-house programmer and host of FBi's Picture Show.

Highlights on the bill include: Sydney exclusives Exposed and Prince Avalanche; Golden Age Prices on a Tuesday, where ticket fares correlate with the year of release (Jurassic Park $11.50, Scarface $7); Friday night horror sessions; and Saturday matinee screenings for little and big kids.

Don't miss the highly acclaimed Canadian documentary Stories We Tell (November 13th), Godard's seminal feature Breathless (November 24th), the first Sydney screening of German comedy Oh Boy (November 14th), or the newly restored Wizard of Oz (November 23rd).
