Mary’s Opens in the CBD

Christmas has come early for us Sydneysiders, with the legends of Mary’s Newtown opening a second, take-away only burger bar on Castlereagh St in the CBD. After Neil Perry’s Burger Project launching only a few weeks ago, the city is now spoilt for choice when it comes to burger heaven. Like its Newtown original, the team from Mary’s will be bringing the classic menu of finger-lickin’ fried chicken and mouth watering burgers to the city, as well as offering a new range of shakes to make up for the absence of alcohol on site.

The new site at 154 Castlereagh Street has two floors, with only the first floor dedicated to the take-away section. The top floor gives the team the extra production space it lacks in Newtown, as well as having some more room to experiment with different menu items, leading to the potential of limited-edition burger options on occasion. After being hailed ‘the best burger in Sydney’, double the space means double the deliciousness and double the fun, and we can’t wait to have double the opportunity to get our greasy mits all over those burgers!
