We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Opera Bar is officially back in action, and not a moment too soon!
It’s always been one of our favourite spots to spend an entire day drinking never-ending bottles of Prosecco and downing cocktails in the sun, and now it’s been revamped just in time for the silly season.
Headed up by celebrity chef Matt Moran and partners The Solotel Group, the brand new Opera Bar has the same stellar harbour views, just a brighter, more modern look than before. Think clean lines, lots of light, and plenty of timber benches to park yourself at while the drinks flow and the sun shines.
Foodies will love the new raw bar that will spoil you for choice; fans of oysters, lobster and silky smooth ceviche should prepare themselves for seafood heaven. For the more meat-inclined, a brand new charcuterie bar features a delicious selection of everything from wagyu bresaola to holmbrae chicken liver parfait and a tempting range of cheeses.
If you’re a little hungrier than that, the new and improved menu will have you tossing up between pizzas, some epic steaks and plenty more. Looking for some of the best cocktails in Sydney? The updated cocktail menu is perfect for boozy lunches and basking in the afternoon sun.
If you’re not completely sold now, there’s a good chance you will be when we tell you that 2015 will see the opening of Café at Opera Bar, serving all day breakfast seven days a week. Can you imagine a better way to start your day than a delicious spread while taking in the Sydney in all of its glory? Neither can we.
So it’s safe to say we’ll be spending our entire summer working our way through the food and drinks menus at Opera Bar. We’ll be the ones elbow-deep in a jug of Pimms.
