These COVID-19 times have brought about many an animal live-stream—and we are living for it. Now, for the first time in Taronga’s 102-year-history, Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo are joining forces and going virtual with the launch of a little something called Taronga TV.

You’ll get to tune in daily for a packed schedule of keeper talks and shows, 24/7 live animal streams and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at what the animals actually get up to when the zoo is closed. Taronga TV will be releasing new video on the daily on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and online via Taronga TV.

As for the type of live streams you can expect? There’s a Sumatran Tiger cam where you’ll spot three fresh cubs (most active between (9.30am - 2.15pm), a seal cam, an elephant cam and even videos of white rhino calves at snack time.

Head over here for more.

You can also make the most of self-isolation by fostering all the animals from RSPCA.
