Get Set for Harvest ‘n’ Graze Festival Tomorrow!

By Ella Pleasant - 09 Nov 2013

Folks, it's time to unpack the picnic rug – the Harvest 'n' Graze festival is back and better than ever! Held at Rippon Lea House & Gardens on Sunday, 10th November, Harvest 'n' Graze 2013 will be a leisurely day of grazing, lazing, sipping and sampling of Victoria's finest bounty.

The festival features a hand-picked selection of the state's best gourmet producers, seasonal growers and sustainability-minded businesses. Meet, greet, sample and buy from 40 stallholders selling everything from regional cheeses, wines and boutique beers, to plump berries, native spices and fruit chutneys. Yum!

There's also a vast array of ready-to-eat delights on offer – we recommend a visit to the father-son duo at Mr. Calamaro who use freshly caught, hand-filleted fish and Gippsland potatoes to make the best darn fish 'n chips ever. Make sure you slather your serve in their homemade organic aioli. After something a little different? Head over to the GrumbleTumms van for a bit of Aussie bush tucker – their kangaroo burgers, wallaby kranskys and croc spring rolls will have you saying 'crikey' in no time. Wash it all down with a frothie or three from the Beer Gypsies. They sell only the best Victorian boutique brews, so you're guaranteed to be doing local businesses good with every sip.

Feeling a little full? Get your daily cardio out of the way with a boogie to some sweet tunes. The live music line-up on the day includes James Reyne, Palace of the King, Doppelganger, Kingston Crown and Chanelle Davis. Adults aren't having all the fun here either – there will be plenty of free activities and amusements to keep the kiddies entertained throughout the day.
